The classical repertore is too vast for any one person to master fully. I try to cover the most important composers and works to build a decent catalogue as a starting point, with the occasional narrower focus (e.g. Scriabin). However, there are other scholars, analysts, historians, philosophers, pianists, and professors who have done extensive work in their fields, to whom I owe much of my knowledge. On this page I share my recommendations of what I see as some of the most useful contributions.
If you would like to go deeper into the history or theory than I do on the channel - I can highly recommend these books. They require some basic musical theory knowledge, so they are not for beginners, but they also explain things in a very good way.
